iResearch:Stability, Top Priority For Netizen to Choose Free Mail Service

[ Time:2007-2-12  Author:  Editor:  From:chinatechnews

It reported in 2004: 'Sina claims the free mailbox updated to 30M, Yahoo! to 100M'. That must be astonished and greatly attractive to netizens as most of them were using 2M/5M free mailbox service. Then, how about today, after 3 years?

Requirement from netizens are always very hard to be satisfied, according to iResearch, when users selected their free mail service in past several years, they usually firstly considered the 'capacity' of the mailbox. Now, they finally positively accept the service which provide 1G, 2G, 3G mailbox for free. However, at the meanwhile, a new requirement seems to be more and more concerned with.

From the China Email Market Research Report'of iResearch which is to be released, the rate of requirement for mailbox 'stability' is 5% higher than the 'capacity'.

So, we think carriers should focus on their stability service improving and publicizing in fierce competition. It is no doubt that the stability-oriented service will be closer to netizens demand than the capacity-oriented.
